Description
ParkON is an online company that pretends to offer a service assisting with parking lot reservations at different lots in various cities in the US. I booked a reservation through them for long term parking at a lot called Park2Fly at JFK airport. I paid a deposit of $26.94 through the website via credit card. When my family arrived at the lot, not only did we Not have a reservation, the attendants never heard of ParkON. We had to scramble to find a 10 day parking spot before rushing on to our flight. I immediately, went online to the ParkON site and cancelled the fake reservation and request a refund if the deposit paid.
ParkON did not refund the money. I contacted them several times and the did not respond or refund the money. I opened a dispute through Citicard.
ParkON first lied and said I never cancelled the reservation, which I did, (from the airport) even though there was no reservation and I had to cancel because of ParkOn's fraud. I provided all the documentation. Eventually, Citicard said that although I won the dispute, ParkON is refusing to pay, so l'm responsible for the $27. I know it's not a lot of money, but the point is that ParkON kept money that I paid for a service that was never provided. They've stolen money from me.
They are a fraud, pretending to make reservations and then stealing money. Oh and if, I were responsible for the cancellation fee, the fee should have been $14.95. ParkON kept the full deposit. Such a scam, horrible company. I’m sure others have had their deposits stolen as well.
