Type of a scam Online Purchase
I Google searched "Fender flares for ram 1500", and came across a website that had them available. It was called Auto Parts Wholesale Canada. I purchased the part with a credit card, the card was charged $292.67, and my order was confirmed on the website.

I immediately received a text from 613-703-8742 confirming my order as well. Both confirmations told me that they would notify me when the part had shipped.

At the top of the website they had posted this number (647-648-3695) saying to text it for a fast response, and please wait 24hrs to hear back. I texted them inquiring about my order with no response.

I decided to text back 613-703-8742, inquiring about my order. No response. I searched the site for any other contact info, and came across this phone number:
905-554-2440
and these email addresses:
[email protected]

I called, texted, and emailed every contact with the same inquiry. No response.

After multiple calls, texts, and emails without any response, I decided to go back to the website to look for any information, but the website was down.
I noticed that 647-648-3695 would go straight to voicemail (that was full), which made me believe that this phone was in use. An internet search of the phone number led me to a Kijiji ad wanting help in an auto parts warehouse.
It said to contact Steve at 647-648-3695.
The help wanted ad had an address attached, which was:
15 Heritage Rd, Markham, ON
An internet search revealed the location to be 747 Auto Parts.
I called the number provided 9052945773 demanding to talk to Steve and recieve the product I payed for. The man on the other end informed me that Steve used to rent a unit here and had a fake auto parts website, scamming people. He also mentioned an ongoing police investigation.
