I called to book a character for my kid's birthday party. They took down the information and charged my credit card a $75 deposit. The company had a 48 hour cancellation policy. Once I booked, the venue owner asked me which company I used. After telling him, he told me I was scammed and that he had had other clients try to book with this company. I tried emailing to cancel, the email did not work. I called to cancel and the person told me they were going to process the refund. To date, they still have not processed the refund. They keep telling me they will but do not send an email confirmation or evidence that they did. After researching online, i am seeing other people have had the same issues with them. There was a weird number that texted me at one point that said she was dispatch and asked for an additional $50 for travel costs to the character because they had to travel so far to the party. I tried calling the number and it did not work.

partycharactersforkids.com was contracted and accepted a deposit to provide a party character for 3 year old's birthday. The chaacter never appeared or notified us of cancellation leaving 19 3 year olds very disappointed. This company is a scam and everyone should reported as such.

This company is fraudulent! The email correspondence is given under two different names and signature with an attached photo of a picture from online representing the manager. They call just right before your event to cancel with a lame excuse! I originally ordered poppy troll character. I was offered branch and Poppy at a discounted rate. The night before my event at 6:30pm I received a call telling me they received notice that the costumes have been destroyed by wine, at an event the day before. Due to this they will not be able to attend the event. The manager stated he had been looking all day for a replacement and would call me back as soon as one came up. I called the original number to the so called company and they still had my event as confirmed not cancelled. I spoke to the customer service rep regarding this and they said they would look into it he assured me should anything change my refund will be processed since this was on their part. About 2 hrs later I got a phony email stating my event was cancelled and my refund will be processed. I then called back the number to the origina l manager who told me the costumes were damaged and I received an out of service message. Called back the company number and No answer! I have been calling for weeks. Finally get through once again promised a refund and still no refund! I have left messages, gotten the run around. It's ridiculous! Stay away!

This website is pretending to be a national call center for party costumed characters for kids. I thought I was hiring a character to come to a kids' birthday party. I was charged a deposit but no services were ever rendered. I have not been able to reach the company since.

Hired a party character they stated it provided a bunch of fun stuff for the kids to be entertained with the character stood in my yard for a hour and it was very awkward. I called and they just tell me no refunds
