On February 23rd, 2024 I had found a place called Party Characters for Kids on google. I was trying to book a Woody for my sons 1st Birthday Party that happened April 6th. So i put a down-payment of $75 and the rest they said it will be cash upfront. March 1st, 2024 at 8:51am they tried to take out $150 from my card under Mellyoo.com and March 4th, 2024 at 9:56am they tried to take out $270.73 under Jaskonsart.com. So i called my bank and reported it that im getting fraud transactions taken out and i closed the account completely and got a new one. I called March 4th, 2024 at 2:29 and it was deactivated.

So April 2nd i got a text from a number (202)866-1336 from Someone name Ray. He told me 4 days before my son's birthday party that there has been an emergency that Woody will not be able to make it and tried to convince me to get a guy in a basic custome for the same price. And i said no that i want my refund. And i told him i no longer have my original card i paid with due to fraud and he said thats okay he can send it to another one. So i gave my boyfriends card number and he said to wait 7 to 10 business days. So i waited 2 weeks and nothing. I called customer service 866-434-4101 and i spoke to someone name Bernal. I asked for an update and he said they already sent my refund. And i told him well we never got it. And he said they sent it to my original card i used. And i explained to him why when i gave a new card when they canceled. And he tried to tell me its there policy and i told him well Ray never said that he said it was fine to refund me to a different card since mine is deactivated. And he kept telling me i got my refund. So he told me to get proof and send it to billing and i did. And til this day 2 months later still no refund and hes still telling me i got it and i didnt everything they told me to. I sent proof and hes still giving me the run around. Also the customer service line i have clicked 1 for booking 2 for cancelation and 3 for billing and ive called all hours of the day and Bernal seems to be the only one answering these phone calls. And he claims theres over 300 workers and yet hes always answering and i have called more the 30 times the last 2 months. This is a scamming business and isnt right they are stealing from people using kids birthday parties to do it.

This company uses many images of talented hobbyists without their knowledge or consent to promote themselves for profit. They are a children's party entertainment provider, hiring out costumed characters at a very high rate. Reviews indicate that they charge upfront, rarely show up, and even when they do, most find the experience completely unprofessional and clearly different than what was agreed upon. The reason I'm taking issue with them is that one of the people they've stolen images from is Lenny Robinson, a genuine hero to many thousands around the globe. He famously spent hundreds of thousands of dollars he'd made himself on conducting charity Batman appearances, most commonly travelling to children's hospitals. He was at it for only a few years before tragically being killed while returning from an event. To the worldwide community he helped establish, this is the single most revolting possible move such a company could have made, shy of child abuse. There are many stolen photographs on their site, and all of that is unethical and outrageous, but to take advantage of Lenny and his message of hope to the world for monetary gain is unfathomable and utterly unforgiveable.
