Type of a scam Online Purchase
a?ernoon of Sept. 23, two men came by our house to pick up the package, with contents worth $800. One of the
men quoted me a price for shipping the package. I wrote out a check for $145. They told me that I will receive an
email with the receipt and tracking details. They also told me that the package should arrive to its destination
within 8 weeks. I never received the email. I began contacting them via Facebook Messenger and email in early
November, to inquire about the invoice and tracking information. No answer. I sent a few messages and emails.
One email bounced back, because their website domain is now inactive. In addition, the phone number listed on
their Facebook page (720-815-9949) is no longer working. If needed, I have photos of the box being loaded in the
van by the two men.
