PatientIQ Impostor Reports & Reviews (1)

I was first contacted via text saying that they had found my resume on indeed and wanted to interview me via the signal app. The interview was done entirely through text. At the end, they sent me an email from a Gmail account (which I have since deleted and reported through Gmail, so I don't have record of it) with a photocopy of an apparent check. The company name on the check was different from the company name they were introduced through. They wanted me to deposit it and send it on to a supplier so they could send me supplies for the job. I almost did it, but my parents stopped me at the last second, so the check didn't get deposited, where it would have likely bounced. I reached out to the company they were impersonating and verified it was a scam before blocking and reporting the text and email accounts and deleting the signal app.

I don't have a copy of the check anymore. I think it was between $500-$1000.

The number used on the signal app was +1 267-768-7599
