So , if you are interested in buying my car, just email me with your full name, full delivery address and phone number. I can notify eBay that you are selected as my possible buyer and they will contact you to explain the whole procedure.
I was almost a victim of this scam. She is now selling a 2007 Toyota Camry for $1,000.00. with 88,000 mi.was told the car brings bad memories and it needs to go. Also she relocated to VA. for a job. She prefers to use Ebay for the safety of both of us. I could understand that. So I sent my full name and address and received an invoice from Ebay motors stating that the mode of payment are gift cards. Something in my spirit told me this is not right and I immediately did a search on [email protected]. I was almost scammed out of 1,000.00.

I'm selling this SUV because my child of only 26 years died 2 months ago in a bike accident, the SUV belonged to my son and it brings me bad memories and that's the reason I want to sell it. Me and my husband travel a lot with our business and we want to make this deal through eBay Motors (Buyer Protection Program), so if you're interested in purchasing the SUV just reply me your full name, full address, phone number and email address so I can notify eBay. Once that is done, they will contact you in the next 12 hours to explain the entire procedure.

I saw no harm in sharing my address and phone number, so I did and then I received this email in my spam folder

The ebay Buyer Protection Program accepts Paypal and credit/debit cards. Gift cards are untraceable. This is obviously a scam.
I tried to go to consultant.com, and wasn't able to. I hope nobody actually falls for this scam
