Today I received an email with a receipt of purchase of a gun using my Pay Pal account ($650). I have not used my Pay Pal account for 15 years! Within minutes I received receipt of purchase of bit coins $499 using my Pay Pal Account. I have been trying to contact Pay Pal and so far have been unsuccessful. This really upsets me. I am attaching copies of the two email receipts in a PDF document. Please check it out and get back to me. I do not want to be held responsible for these unauthorized pay pal purchases. I don't know if it is a scam or not, or someone has stolen my information and is using it fraudulently. Please Help!

I recently made a purchase on-line and somehow Paypal added that I had bought through them. It was sneaky. I have ordered hundreds of things on-line and never has Paypal snuck in and indicated that I purchased it through them. I did not. I received a email that I had, I responded to that email and told them to take their name off the credit card statement. There was a response that I need to log into my Paypal account to do that. I told them, I do not have nor do I want a Paypal account. They did not respond. They must think people are stupid. I would have to create a Paypal account to log into it. That is a scam.

I have a PayPal account and I have been receiving these emails telling me about my account is going to be suspended if I don't update my information. I always block or mark as "fishing" these emails with my email tools but I keep receiving them.

Paypal has sent me emails about claiming unclaimed funds. When I have attempted to contact paypal they tell me that they refuse to relinquish these funds without me providing certain additional personal information such as my bank account information which I refuse to provide. The only person that I was able to speak with was a Maryann in the claims department who refused to process my claim after I provided both my email address as well as the claim number that was sent to me through email. I also requested a supervisor multiple times and was not provided one.

Received this email. Absolute spam. I did not purchase anything and PayPal never communicates through Gmail. Also, misspelled words are a dead giveaway.

I was trying to verify my paypal account. They took 400 dollars and continuely asked for more. Refused to refund my money and was sent to a senior tech who again stated that i had to send more money to verify my Paypal account. Then asked me to buy 400 in google play cards and they would refund the money there. When i explained that would be 800 they would owe me they continued to argue and still have refused to send a refund. i heard people in the back ground so they are busy scamming.

I received an email from this scammer stating that I purchased a Google play card for $499. When I called the supposed paypal number on the email they said that supposedly the transfer was made from zelle account to PayPal to purchase the Google play card although my PayPal account has been closed for over a week. They then wanted me to download a mirror app so they could supposedly assist me. They then wanted me to log onto my banking information to supposedly look at how the transfer was made. When I refused to log onto the bank he kept trying to pressure it and kept saying he couldn't help me until I logged into my bank account. They then hung up on me and when I called back they began to swear and hung up on my again. When you look the telephone number up a bogus website for a Hulk Transportation comes up.This is a scam stating that they are from PayPal and sending emails with the PayPal header.

Email was sent on my cell phone saying my Pal Pal account was being limited due to suspicious activity. I was asked to update my account information, which I did (not realizing it was a scam) I entered my social security #, my ATM credit card number, etc. The following day the scammers used my information to get money order transfer. The transaction is still pending after I notified PayPal and my bank.

My son is a Marine. He was trying to set up a PayPal Account so he could use it to pay/reimburse other marines in his platoon if he had them pick something up. I am getting all of this second hand from him so I am doing my best. I believe it started with an email stating his account needed to be verified. He did the right thing. He looked up PayPal. Called that number to check in. Person he got verified he needed to verify bank info.as there was a hold on his account. This is where he messed up. He gave them all his info. They then asked him to purchase a gift card and call back with the info so they could complete the verification process. I do not know how he didn't clue in but he purchased multiple gift cards. Totalling over 2,000. I believe he still has the gift cards. He has also tried calling the gift card company to see where they were spent but hasn't gotten very far. I am trying to help him as he is back on base(came home for a funeral). He has to quarantine now and then ships out to either a training site in Idaho or Australia so he if physically unable to follow through on any fraud case. I need help in knowing who to contact next. Or what to do?! Please help. I am mom. *** **** **********.

I received an email this morning that appeared to be from PayPal. Online pay receipt. It stated you have authorized a charge of $499.95 to Crytocurreny Exchange Inc. annual subscription. They misspelled it. This charge appears on your statement as payments to Crytocurreny Exchange. Another misspelling. To see all transaction details please log into your PayPal account. It may take two to three business days for this transaction to appear on your account. Please check receipt below for detailed info. The phone number for PayPal is 888-251-5190. I don't have a PayPal account. I have never used PayPal. I did not respond or call the number back.

This number was found on Google Search as tech support for PayPal. They could tell me all about my PayPal account. It sounded legit at the beginning. I was told (by "James") that 3 different locations in Mexico were accessing my PayPal which was rendering it inaccessible. I was told to purchase 3 Google cards (for which I would be reimbursed) and call back with the codes. I purchased 3 Google Play cards ($30). The tech then said, "NO, it has to be 3 $200 or $300 Google Security Cards!" I told him that I was moving and didn't have time or money for that. He assured me that I would be reimbursed on my PayPal account as my account had been hacked and it was PayPal's responsibility to fix the problem...the security cards would verify that I was the correct person, with the correct location. After several hours, James's supervisor, "Chris" called and said "if I didn't buy the security cards within 5 hours, my money that was on hold would go to whoever wanted it!" Two hours later Chris called and I said that I couldn't afford it and he cursed me out! Then I knew it was a scam!!!

I was trying to retrieve my paypal account. I search in Google to find the paypal contact number, 1-888-221-1161. It was a tech support guy sound like he's Indian accent. He says that in order to change the old phone number on it so that I can change the password I have to download a program from the Google app called techsupport. Its a program where they r connected to you and watch what you are doing. He says that this will guide me through it better this way to help me to resolve my issue of my paypal account. He says that I need to link this to my Wells Fargo account. I login my account and he made me do a Zell transaction 499 dollars to a name Angeliquegardner. He says it won't take any money this is just to verify the link, this is only a example, if taken then he will reimburse my money. It happen, my money was gone and he says that my account was use by 3 others and they took my money. He says that to catch these guys I have to go to the store and purchase 2 gift cards Google 200 dollars each and this will show my location and help to track the 3 people, after he had the information of the 2 Google cards he transfer me to the manager and his name john miller. He ask me to do Google search and typed geektyper and click it and click script file and click map file. It shows a graph of the world and he says that my phone is locked becuz the 3 people that use my paypal account has share my wellsfargo account to the world of 11 of there members, and he says to get rid of them I need to go to different stores and buy 11 cards 200 dollars each. That's when I hang up and quickly called my bank account, and reported this to the police, also bought new phone. I lost 400 dollars because I bought those Google cards. But the 499 that was still pending transaction, was blocked by my bank and returned that my money to my account. These programs are called quicksupport in Google pay, and geektyper needs to be ban and taken out of the internet system before more people are going to get hurt like me. I was crying and smoking and drink very hard, very emotion stress. I feel like I lost a peace of my soul.
