E-mail thanking us for the payment of $433.62 made to ebay Inc. and PayPal Inc. Received e-mail 1/12/2021. Number to call to verify given as +1 (859)898-0487. When called they wanted more info, which I refused to give. Just told them to erase this charge which was supposed to be for an Apple iWatch series 4 GPS+kCellular, 44mm. We never made such an purchase. Call ended when person kept asking for info and I kept refusing. His last words to me were "This amount has been charged to your account so Ha Ha the jokes on you we got the money". I called both ebay and PayPal and both assured me that no such charge was on my account. On 1/13/2021 I called my 2 credit card companies and my bank and reported this to them. They have put a watch on the accounts I have with them. On the e-mail was a Transaction # of 74483DY102354 and a Purchase Notification # of 996-0273-985929. No e-mail address for them was mentioned. Hopefully no one will loose money over this obvious scam.
