I had my customer who purchased an item from me pay me via my PayPal & then the PayPal email I received stated that in order for me to get my money credited to my PayPal account I needed to send my customer an additional $400 via zelle to prove that it was my real account because I did not have my PayPal set as a business account. Both my customer and I knew that this didn’t make sense. I went ahead and contact PayPal customer service and they told me I never had the $180 from the purchase that my customer brought of me send to my PayPal account and then they told me that the email that was used to email me wasn’t from then and that I had gotten scammed by someone else.
