This company called me after my PC began running unusually odd. They told me they were from Microsoft and that they could fix my computer for $199. I fell for this and gave them my credit card information. After 2 days and no repair, I tried to get a full refund (they said that they would honor refunds in the first 48 hours). They denied this request asking for more time to do the work. I began to believe that they were the ones who infected my computer and they probably were!! I reported fraud to my credit card company who refunded my purchase.

But PC Speedy keeps calling me even after I tell them to stop. Today was the 4th time they called and I was not very pleasant on the phone. The guy said "even if you change your phone number, we will keep calling you". I've had enough and want to know how to protect myself from these criminals. No one speaks fluent English and they all have accents sounding like India. What can I do? Today I asked to speak to a supervisor and the guy I was talking to just altered his voice pretending to be someone else. That cinched it for me.
