Scammer's phone3128477154 Type of a scamTech Support
Received a phone message that I was on auto renewal for computer antivirus through PC
Tech. I returned the call to 312-847-7154. Spoke to Molovie (?). I was supposed to access a computer website to receive a full refund on my credit card. I asked how that would work, if I did not renew after my first year in 2015. He became upset, because I would not go to the website. I told him I would call him back after I called the BBB. "click" is thee next thing I heard as the phone line went dead.

This company called me indicating that I signed up for a $300 subscription for their tech support for possible computer viruses. I do not remember taking such action and told them so. They were insistent that I did. After several minutes on the phone and them wanting direct access to my computer to cancel the subscription, I decided to abruptly end the call. Before I ended the call I told them they should be able to cancel the subscription on their end without gaining access to my computer. I told them I did not need their services (even though they said they were already servicing my account...which I do not remember). I told them if they billed me I would be contacting the BBB, but decided to go ahead and post a message to alert other potential victims of what I believe is a scam. I did not give them any credit card information.

They asked for an itunes card to pay for computer security protection. They ask you to perform tasks that give them access to your computer and say that your network has been compromised.
