A large dark red screen over layed my email screen I was on, said to call 1 844 503 4099 for support I called and in 5 mins the support tech has access to fix into my computer with out asking my request.

He showed web site he works for pclogical.com and said he could fix the problems. After typing amts of 454 and 89 dollars to fix my lap top. I said I will not pay that amt he sent a pop up message YOUR COMPUTER IS LOCK FOR TECINAL REPAIR SUPPORT. I asked to unlck the computer and he said no.

Computer popup warned of viruses, data loss, etc. etc. - call Microsoft tech support IMMEDIATELY at 888-239-3880. Searched that # and found it was supposed to be for a travel agency. Called anyway. Boiler room reps (all southwest Asian accents) said they were Microsoft certified techs working for PCLogical.com of Justin, TX in support of Microsoft (since MS was too busy, etc. etc). PCLogical has a website with another #: 844-503-4094. Called that number also and, surprise, spoke with the same dudes as at the other #. They want to take control of your computer, scan for viruses (free) and then charge an unspecified amount to fix all your computer problems. An obvious fraud and I told them so. Filed an FTC complaint - and told them that too. They called back 6 times using an anonymous number until I firmly told them not to call again (tried once again anyway).
