“Peter” called from “Microsoft” stating errors had been reported and he could help “clean up your computer”. Then directed me to a website which granted remote access to help fix the computer. My daughter questioned the caller and he then hung up the phone when asked for a specific address. It was noted that there continued to be remote access and actions happening on the computer. A fake blue screen appeared trying to get the user to believe he/she needed to call a tech support number for assistance. My daughter was able to work around this and remove installed programs that would have continued unauthorized access to the computer.

I don't recall ever using this service. They say my service is expired and they will withdraw $2000.00 for next 5 years if I don't call 1-929-220-5301
