Do not trust this number AT ALL COST!

I am looking for a job in Indeed and Zip Recruiter when I stumbled to this hiring position. I am applying to multiple work from home jobs and this company replied to me. They instructed me to download this app called Signal and contact “Ms. Davis”. Because of that instruction, I had a suspicion that this is a scam but still decided to go with the flow to gather more information. I downloaded the app and contacted this Ms. Davis. We proceeded to the interview and I answered the questions like I am serious with the position I am applying for. It’s funny that when I asked them a question they just completely ignored my question and decided to continue with their script lol. But anyways I decided to go with the flow. She continued and said congratulations so I assumed I got “hired” then she started to list some equipments that I needed for the job. It’s funny that I am applying for a call center position but they require me a printer lmao. Anyways I still decided to make them believe that I am believing them and now that they are shipping me the “check” that they promised. I decided to stop playing the game already since it seems like I got most of the information I needed. The number that they are using is registered under the name Karen Davis and it is based on Indianapolis, IN. However, when they shipped the “check” to me, it says that they are from Newport News, VA so I am not that 100% of their location. I will provide some screenshots of all the evidences I gathered so people can be aware about this scam tactic. Keep safe and alert everyone. Don’t trust anyone on the internet.
