I am Mrs. Julienne Mills, I'm one of the Human Resources Manager/Recruitment team at PeaceHealth

I joined PeaceHealth as VP, Customer Operations in October 2020. In this position, I'm responsible for the development, management and oversight of the company’s career programs.

I had almost the exact experience as the other commenter this morning. I was so excited after an almost 2 hour zoom chat interview this morning from a woman claiming to be VP of hiring for PeaceHealth named Mrs. Morgan Sampson. She told me I got the job and then sent me a message saying "I was just informed we will be emailing the check for mobile deposit so you can get started right away" As they were to provide all equipment. Aside from this, everything seemed legit but I had never heard of a check being emailed so I started googling. Turns out emailed checks are a thing but I decided to use the hr number on the website. The company is real. I spoke with the hr department and she verified that they do not conduct zoom interviews and she does not know of a Morgan Sampson. And all in the name of a catholic non profit organization. If it seems to good to be true it usually is. Unfortunately I've been scammed before so I'm weary of things like this but man that job sounded nice. Listen to your gut folks. Hope this helps someone

I need a job and went to careerbuilder.com and was offered a job from Peace Health. They wanted to interview me through Zoom texting. At the end of the zoom conversation, they wanted my address, my date of birth, the bank I use, and a lot of other personal information. However they didnt' ask me for any information about skills for the job. They wanted to get my bank information so they could deposit a $1,500 check. Then they wanted me to pay them for the equipment I would need to work from home. I refused. They were trying to scam me. I know that if I had deposited the check or given them money, the check would have bounced and I would have been the money.
