The scam appeared as a Hot Topic close out sale with discounted Hot Topic merchandise. After I paid, the confirmation email was not from Hot Topic, but from Peaceine. I immediately emailed them and asked to cancel the order and get a refund. They responded that they couldn’t cancel as it already started to pack. The tracking information was sent through a site called Track718, which provided no details about the shipment. After 25 days, the tracking on Track718 showed that the package was delivered when it clearly was not. I reached back out asking for a refund and they offered a 60% refund or a reshipment. I asked for their shipping carrier information and they would not provide the name of their carrier. They then offered a 90% refund so I agreed to that. Not sure if I’ll actually receive the partial refund.
