We got gas at this place, Peach Tree Junction in Stratford, Ok because we saw a sign saying $2.12. The old pump had a white piece of paper taped to it saying 100%. Then in the lower part of the pump a small window showing $3.49 which very hard to see unless you had reason to be searching. If you study the whole pump you can find it but it is clearly set up to confuse. Needless to say I paid $60 to fill up car that never takes $40. Clerk said when questioned, If you would have asked I would have told you. I know you can’t do anything but what can I do? When I called the gas commission they said they had a lot of complaints but couldn’t do anything. It is at least price gouging but also an unethical scam. I know it’s just $20 but there are a lot of good honest people getting taking advantage of on this.
