Type of a scam Online Purchase
On November 10, I ordered the Power Dress from Pearlz & Chainz. The web order details sent to my email can be provided upon request. I received an automated web order receipt notifying me of my purchase. I verified with my financial institution that my credit card was charged the full purchase amount of $207.74 on November 11. The Pearlz&Chainz website notes that it takes 2 weeks for orders to ship to customers.
On November 29, I emailed the company and owner "Tracie Marie" to learn of the status of my order because I had not received my order. I did not receive a response from the company.
On December 10, I emailed the company again, that I had not received my order and that I was requesting a refund. Specifically, I noted, "I have not received my order, and I am cancelling my order and requesting a full refund. If you do not refund my money, I will contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs."
I also direct messaged the company through their Instagram page to learn the status of my web order. I received no response.
On December 13, I received a message from my financial institution that my credit card had been fraudulently used and the charges appeared to be stemming from the Los Angeles area. The same area where Pearlz&Chainz is based.
