I googled “chihuahua puppies for sale”, Pelosichichi website came up. Showed cute puppies available. I emailed an inquiry to them as website instructed. They told me that to place an order I had to purchase a Walmart Visa gift card and send them the information and copy of receipt. They said it processed and the puppy would be shipped via plane to airport nearest me.

Then I received an email from the shipping company stating that Covid regulations required an insurance policy coverage on the dog. They told me it would be refunded upon the dogs safe arrival to me. The insurance was $910, I called the number they had listed for their shipping company and quickly realized I had been scammed.

Then I went online to check for reported scams and sure enough this Pelosichichi was a scam.

Please find these people. I am a senior citizen on fixed income and $500 is a lot of money to lose to a scam artist that apparently the ScamPulse.com and others have known about.

I’m just sick about this.
