Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a text message from a company called Pemigo. It is an auto wrap offer. I would advertise their logo on my car. I responded to the text. I would make $600 by putting the wrap on my car for three months. Their phone number is 849-382-7456. They sent me a $4980 check by FedEx. Instructed me to deposit check. I take out $600. Send the rest back to them. They also wanted to see my deposit slip. I did not deposit the check. I did give my name, make and model number of my car. Year of my vehicle. I called the bank that was on the check. First Commonwealth Bank. They could not locate an account. That is when I became suspicious.
