I clicked on a Facebook ad claiming Pendleton had an outlet store going out of business. I searched through products and added several items to the shopping cart, supposedly worth over $200. But the total sales didn't add up, another $100 was deducted for no apparent reason, I noticed no company contact info, and an insecure website. I then questioned the extremely low prices for the product and researched the said outlet sale separately, which quickly revealed a FB scam. Valid Pendleton sites are secure and offer sales, but nothing as fabulous as this. Too good to be true.
