Facebook Marketplace was the original tactic. Checked it out on the internet. Pd for a bicycle. No bike and no response to any requests for info.

The website uses the Bed Bath & Beyond logo, product names, and images, and essentially functions as a clone website of the real domain with low clearance prices for closing sale items. The website is only identifiable as a scam through the URL and the lack of accurate contact information for the company. Since the site was advertised with the real Bed Bath & Beyond logo in the Facebook Marketplace alongside real news articles about Bed Bath & Beyond going out of business, the scam is highly effective. The parent company is listed as Supic Company Limited under an address in the UK that does not appear to exist. There is no listed phone number, and no way to speak to a real person.

Clicked link fro an online search for item on "WAYDAY" by WAYFAIR. Directed away a page that said "Way Day" completed transaction, item never shipped. Contact the customer service link with no response.
