As soon as they said they were sending me a check to buy iphone ipad all computer stuff i knew it was scammers i emailed them and told them they were frauds n they never said anything back they need to be shut down i dont get how indeed and glassdoor and careerbuilder let them post or helping them get there victims just sad

Yea they want to send me a "cheque" for $3500+ to buy scanners, printers, macbook air, iphones and a headset and keep $450 Stipend. The asked me to sign the "eCheck".

Thats as far as I'll go with this one, they got me good lmao. I dont know who has the chops to actually go past this point. But I know its only going to be followed up with. "Im so sorry but we accidentally put an extra "0" in the check please pay us back" or even worse a message from bank of america telling you the check was fraudulent and you owe lol

So I received emails just like these but actually gave information! Looked them up and everything seemed to be legit! Now idk what to do with them having some of my information!

Scam Company?

I got the same email as everyone listed above. Because of the way the letter is written I don't believe this is a legitimate company. It feels more like a phishing company although they have not asked for any type of personal info. I don't know what their game is and I can't figure out what they would accomplish with this type of scam. Does anyone know? I'm supposed to have a Zoom meeting with them tomorrow morning. I don't know if I'll attend that meeting. My scam senses are on high alert.

I agree, I believe it’s a scam company, too. The A few months ago I found a website that specifically teaches how to “pretend” to be legit, they show how to create an email that looks “legit”. Here’s their “real” email address. They’ve tried to make it look legit. Stay away!

I just got an identical email about the job offering. I have not responded and will not. This is about the tenth scam company I have dealt with. The zoom or skype will not actually be an interview with a person. It will claim to be a person, but they will send you sets of questions to answer in a written response. They will immediately, or very soon after, offer you the position. They will send you the paperwork to fill out for tax withholdings, etc. This is where they will get your personal info and your SSN. The last one I dealt with went so far as to use a real person from the company's name. However, when I called the company and requested the email for that person, it was different than the one I had been given. It amazes me that they can get away with using real companies, real names and even real tax forms. This is criminal. Be careful!
