Like another person that reported a scam, I was contacted by the same man Alex Mark. He had me set up a Skype account so we could have a 45 minute interview session. After I answered the questions asked he said he would get back to me in just a few minutes to confirm with his hiring manager. He sent me a message back stating that they would like to offer me the position as Project Manager. He stated that he received or noticed my resume on CareerBuilder.com. The company, Presico Engineering is located out of Singapore with offices in Vietnam and Malesia. I have worked for companies on a global scale and when I looked up the company website at Alex Mark's request, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then he said they will be sending me a check to purchase computer equipment and software, which did seem odd because all equipment I receive from working from home has come directly from the company. He sent the check and I deposited it via my mobile app. Then he kept asking questions as to when it was going to clear and I told him it was on hold until 7/25. My bff had told me about a similar experience that one of her friends had and that is when I did more research and came across the scam a woman reported on your website. Same name, same company, same contact. I was lucky and I did not provide them with any account information, my address or social security number and have filed a police report here in Phoenix, AZ and gave the incident number to my bank's fraud department. I don't want anyone else to fall to this scam and hopefully if they are contacted by Alex Mark or Kelvin Leo, pretending to have an offer letter and the opportunity to work at what seems to be a great company, they will find this note and disconnect contact with them.
