Type of a scam Worthless Problem-solving Service
I had two calls this week.
Tuesday Call # 1---The man said he belonged to a private investor group and asked if (redacted by ScamPulse.com staff) (my son) owned the home on Beech Dr. in Mentor-on-the -Lake. They wanted to know if he was interested in selling it. I replied "NO" and told them I did not own the property. Note: My name is (redacted by ScamPulse.com staff) and I live in Eastlake (why are they calling me?) P.S. My son does not have a landline.
Thursday Call # 2--Samantha said she was calling from a private investor group. Again, this person knew my name and address. I did not admit I was this person. She asked if I was interested in selling my home.
I asked her why they keep calling people about selling their home. She hung up.
I gave neither caller any information...but they still knew my son's name and address as well as mine. Are they going to county property records? Is this a scam?
