"Erick Taz Amico" provides and adoption service for Scottish, West Highland, and Cairn terriers. He sent out applications via pdf wnt all pertinent info of name, address, email and such. plus contact for land lord or bank contact for "verification" of payment transfer ability. The provider email or text at odd hrs of day, times that aren't realistic for someone that lives in the same Time Zone. This morning, he wanted me to Venmo him $350 as a non-refundable security deposit then another $300 before making the dog available to view. Provider (Erick) would not give me his phone # nore any reference contacts for a follow-up. I refused andas I wouldn't send him any money upfront. Site, plus 3 othere's were taken down moments later. I contacted my bank incase he asked for a money transfer as well as the property manager in the event they wanted info as to how I transfered monthly payments.

This "supposed" PUPPY RESCUE, asked for a deposit to buy a puppy. The form of payment was an American Express Gift Card for 200.00. They used it, then accused me of using it before I sent it. They said the deal was off and we did not get a puppy. In hindsight, I now know it was a complete scam, and now I know what to look for....If it seems too good to be true, then it is....

The scammer and I spoke about adopting a puppy. We were told to give $600 deposit to hold the puppy and then $600 (more than a month later) when we could choose the exact puppy. We sent that and have asked to receive some pictures and videos of our new puppy. We have not heard from this woman for over a month now. Hasn’t answered messages, calls or anything and has completely left us in the dark.
