I am being scammed by someone claiming to ship a puppy and she is claiming to use this company to ship the puppy. I originally determined that this was potentially a scam on Craigslist and said no. They then convinced us that it was legit and we sent them $250 as a deposit. They stated that the shipping was in progress and we were contacted by the shipping company. The company she used is requesting I send money to pay for a rented thermal crate in the amount of $1550 via ***** payment. This was not part of the agreement I had with the private owner and would not have proceeded with this is I knew they’re keep requesting I send money. I searched for the companies website and it looked to be legit. I kept searching and found nothing until I searched the phone number the shipper used to contact me. His name was Joey. He called twice urging me to send the money for the electronic crate. I told him I was working on it and found the complaints for this company on the ScamPulse.com site. I cancelled the transaction and asked for my money back. I contacted my bank and they informed me that my chances of getting it back were slim. Listen to the red flags and do not fall for this.
