I was contacted by this company after I completed a purchase of a dog on-line which I realize now was part of this scam. After the purchase was completed the seller advised that Pet Customer Transportation Department would be contacting me regarding the shipment of the puppy. This company said I would need to send $980 thru Western union for a refundable deposit on the crate that was needed for shipping. Once I retrieve the puppy they would immediately refund me $950 so I would only be paying $30 for the crate rental. I did as they instructed and then once that was completed I received an email from the same company advising I would need to pay and additional $890 for pet insurance. I became suspicious that I was a victim of a scam. I called the number listed on the email for this company and a man answered and tried to assure me that is was a requirement and not a scam and that he could not ship the dog out without it. I told him he was a scammer and I was not going to send him another penny. If this was insurance was required then he know that when he sent me the crate pricing and I wasn't going to fall into his game again.
