Pet scam Reports & Reviews (387)

This company posted on Facebook marketplace as sellers of teacup Chihuahuas. I clicked on an image and they quickly sent an inbox message to me. They claimed to live in Little Rock Arkansas and we proceeded to message back and forth about the puppy I wanted. It was 3:30 p.m. and we agreed that I would pick up the puppy at 6:00. Then the seller wanted personal information and for me to pre pay $150 of the $600 dollar price. I told them I couldn’t do that because there are too many scammers. They kept pressuring and I finally said if they kept insisting that I prepay I would look elsewhere for the puppy. They said no just come now to pick up the dog. They gave an address in Little Rock. We left still suspicious but we hoped. Our suspicions were right the address was a single home and the residents knew nothing about dog sales. I have screenshots of all the communication if needed.

I was looking for a companion pet. I live alone and am a senior living rural and not much contact with others. They sent me multiple pictures of a French bulldog puppy that would be perfect, collected my money by Zelle , account- info@ billingsbiztrucking.com

Seller went by the name of Debbie Heather and had an elaborate Facebook page with testimonials. They had pictures of many cats that were for adoption. When I emailed them they initially sent me a picture of a Pitt bull grey puppy. Then when i reminded them it became 2 male kittens then i went to their Facebook page and there were 2 others, when i asked one had been sold and the other was available. When asked me if i wanted them i had to hurry so his wife could pack his things and get him to the airport. I messaged carriers that delivered animals and couldn’t find a courier less than $600. And this guy offered $ 200 for his courier. He then asked zell, Apple Pay, pay pal. I said zell and he gave me the address of Brandon’[email protected]. Then I changed my mind and wanted pay pal he gave me the name of Laban Boen with an email of [email protected], was resistant and wanted a screen shot of finished transaction. When i told him I wasn’t comfortable, he said this is How he feeds his family and was mad because I didn’t trust him. Finally i said i was kicked out of my bank and the transaction and communication ended quickly.

Purchased puppy for $660, once paid, received email from shipper needing crate fee of $810, after that was paid, puppy was flown to Kansas, then received another email for additional vaccine (puppy didn't do well during flight, needed shot to calm dog down) and permit fee for $790, I only paid $500, they paid balance and was told there would be no further fees required. After that was paid, puppy was supposed to arrive, but never did. Received a text from "Ariella" there was an "expired insurance" fee now due of $790, which I finally refused to pay. Spent two days going back and forth about this fee needing to be paid so dog would arrive in my home, but did not pay and now out over $2,000 and no puppy! Stay away from Ariella Teacup Yorkies!!

This company scammed my family of $1500! Do not send money via zelle. Do not trust their shipper (Pacific Air Cargo LTD). You will not get a puppy and you will not be treated well.

I purchased a kitten from a breeder (whom I also already reported) and this carrier first emailed me with confirmation and tracking number. Then they sent me another email shortly after claiming due to weather and temperature changes, the kitten should have to be shipped in a special temperature controlled crate and asked me to pay $1,850 for the crate plus vaccine from the vet. They said if I return the crate back to them at the time of delivery, then I will get a full refund. I said okay, but asked to use my credit card and that's when it all happened. They insisted I use Zelle for immediate payment directly from my bank. I said I don't want to, then they sent me this link to make the payment and my credit card company didn't process the payment due to possible scam. They are threatening me for abandoning the kitten and that I will be charged $7,000+ for abandoning the kitten. I asked the seller for refund and she's not responding back. These two work together and scam people. Company website is a joke too. Phone number is a joke too. Company is not even registered to do business in Washington.

Found a cat breeder online selling some cats. I reached out to purchase one. Made an agreement, signed paperwork, and then sent money via PayPal, $795. The cat was $650 and shipping was an additional $150. After I sent the money they setup shipping through a company that has been linked to scamming activity, Enshippers. Enshippers emailed me stating that I needed to send them an additional $810 for a shipping crate for which 95% would be refunded. This was to be sent via PayPal Friends and family which seemed odd for a company to require that. That is when I found many posts about the companies scamming activities and decided to report this. The breeder's website is glandishkittens.com.

Puppy scammers

Was contacted by the shipper. That my dog would be shipped Tuesday. 1st they requested a deposit for the crate. Then for insurance and now they are trying to get money for proof of care.

Legit looking website and testimonials. Takes deposits on site or sells parrot eggs and incubators. Minimum $ 300 purchase, eggs soldt. They use Zelle (that's how they got me). Never sends the  product and eventually stops communication. Zelle will not get money back and your bank can't either when Zelle is used as part of your banking service!

i wanted a puppy and they scammed me really bad liars wanted more money backing like a airport to ship the dog weird people

I was directed to their website from a Google Ad. I was skeptical at first because the puppies were well below market value for a Klee Kai puppy. They sent a "sales agreement" to me with an address that does not exist. Then they sent their Zelle information (the account was under someone else's name) asking for payment up front. When I asked for a video they sent a video of three puppies playing and a voiceover saying my name. I asked to video chat with them and the dog and they refused, then they sent over another video claiming to be of the dog - however it was the same exact video of the first one with a DIFFERENT voiceover. They clearly just have that one video and have found pictures of puppies online. Also, when I asked for a reference they gave me one and it was completely fake, as the person said he loved the puppy he got then sent two pictures which were not the same dog! Be aware.

Got scammed with purchasing some puppies.I had seen this person selling puppies on his Fb for a long time, and contacted him and agreed to the amount of $450. 00 I sent the money through Zelle, and he send me a receive from "World wide pet transport" and offered a second puppy for $200.00 It started to get suspicious when he started to ask for more money with added fees from the company, and started to shoot me messages and calls requesting the money, and when I did not agree he threatened me with knowing how to find me.

Trying to sell me a Boston terrier female for the shipping fee of $320!!!
