Type of a scam Employment
Then he gets in to the typical fake check scam. He needs your "effective and prompt response" as he has been "checking his files" and is "going to Paris with his wife" and needs me to send gifts to "the foster homes."
Once he said the job paid $800 a week, I was skeptical. Then, when I asked if this was an error, he disregard it and exclaimed "congrats! You got the job" in the subject of the next email, never calling me or even meeting me in person. That's when I REALLY knew.
Luckily I never made it to the fake check part. I'm sure he wouldn't sent me a bad check, told me to keep some for myself, wire the rest back to him and send him packages. Don't fall for this!
