These people sneak into loan applications and make you think the company is using them, when in fact they're tricking you into signing up for their seven day free trial that you know nothing about until you're charged 39.95 on your card attached to your loan application. Then, when you call them, they try to convince you to use their "tools" and then they go on and on about how, well you signed up so we probably can't refund you for the amount because you agreed to this charge. I agreed to nothing knowingly. They kindly will cancel your account, but they want to avoid refunding you.

Took $34.95 (this was my phone payment)without authorization! Emptied my only money and I'm homeless and unemployed. This is bull[censored]. This is severely affecting my life and is totally unacceptable. I have a hard enough life as it is. I dont need companies ripping me off for the very few $ I have! I should be compensated for the stress I'm going through, the time I'm wasting trying to repair this transaction, and my potential loss of employment due to having no fu... phone to contact the world

These people need to be investigated. I was looking for a personal loan online, kept getting declined and it lead me to page after page. I did not sign up for a subscription from PFM! I was able to find my "account" and it says active and I have been charged $39.95 for 7 days! I'm contacting them tomorrow and reporting them to the BBB. I want a full refund and I will get nasty with them so go ahead and [censored] with me PDF. PDF probably stands for personal dick [censored]ers!

TWICE I HAVE BEEN CHARGED BY THIS COMPANY. I NOTICED IT ON MY BANK STATEMENT LAST MONTH AND CALLED THEM. IT WAS TAKEN OFF AND REFUNDED AND NOW YESTERDAY 3/4/2024 THE SAME CHARGE SHOWED ON MY STATEMENT AGAIN.

• Jan 17, 2024

I was charged for this and have no idea who this was. Reading on line it is some sort of credit correction agency that I never signed up for. I called 888-655-0203 and told them I am threatening them to call BBB against them. And they reimbursed me my 39.99. Watch out for these [censored]!

Super Scam alert lol..so bad it's not even funny. Worse part is wee were led there via a 100% legitimate personal loan site. Got denied then referred to another loan company. PMFverify pops up during the application process and misleads you into thinking the loan company uses this service to verify your identity via debit/credit card info. Once you enter your info you are charged $1 and unknowingly signing up for some b.s. 7 day trial that ends and then you're charged 39.95/month until you cancel. You get an email immediately after being charged the $1. Going on their site looks like something made in 1998. Only way to cancel is to call their customer service number..no other way. At no point when you're entering your card information are you told you're being charged $1 or signing up for anything. Crazy how this company hasn't been shut down and owners prosecuted. Trust me..it's gonna happen. You can all find comfort in that someone will go to prison for this eventually. It's that bad. They have an address too..would be a shame if someone paid them a visit 🤷‍♂️ it's a private P.O. box..but someone has to pick up the mail 😁 where is renting them the box should be treated with the same kindness.

Like many others I was trying to find a loan company but ended up get this website.

I never signed up for this company and yet they took $39.95 from my bank account. I needed that money for rent. Call the number I found and was told they were busy but someone would be contacting me. I get a phone call less than a minute later and the lady on the other end was trying to give me her speal and get me to keep their service by offering another service for half the price. I had to get mean over the phone with her and tell her that I don't want any of their products. She then tried saying she could only refund me half the amount! I told her that she will be giving me the full amount or else I will be reporting the business to the BBB. She then magically found a way to get me the full refund amount.

This place is a scam whatever they are offering is not legit and I started signing up for a trial didn't complete it and still got charged and you have to Google their contact info because it's not on the website so it increases the likelihood you will forget you signed up and won't cancel before they assault your bank account.

I thought I was signing up for a consolidation loan & put my banking info on this site. When I realized it wasn't that type of company, I immediately called to cancel. After 5 minutes of this woman trying to convince me to keep it, she finally said she would cancel it and I get the cancelation email. Two weeks later this company took a $19.95 monthly fee out of my account. I sent an email to refund my money & it comes back saying to call them. I call them & I get a message saying they will call me back and never does. This company is a scam & just taking people money without their permission. Now I have to go through my bank to file a fraud complaint!

I was looking for a loan online. I was told the loan company used this company to verify my identity, and I would be charged $1 to do so. A day later I saw the charge for the $1.

About a week later, I saw a charge from this company for $39.95. I contacted my bank, which have me thier contact info. I sent an email, and was told I had to call. I cashed the number, and was told they would call me back. When they did, I spoke with a lady that was very hard to understand. She tried to get me to stay, or even sign up for another service. I told her, I wanted my account closed, and the $39.95 returned. She said she would choose my account.

A day later, the charge was still there, so I disputed it with my bank. I also looked on PFM's website to find thier terms, which say you have to cancel within 3 days. I told my bank, that if I had known about it, I would have cancelled within the 3 day period.

My bank told me that since they is there policy, there was nothing they could do.

This company is a scam. They will charge for something you didn't order, stay away if you see this company name.

Exactly what happened to me.

These people operate under two different names, Reverse provisional credit, Cooper Hawk and PFM verify. They claim to be loan companies stating that you are approved for a loan this is how they get your bank information. The first time they tried taking 39.95 under the assume name Cooper Hawk, My bank caught it and refunded my money. I had to get a new debit card. I may have to change my account number. They used another name PFM verify and are trying to take out another 39.95. My bank shows pending status, today is a Holiday, I will be contacting my bank regarding this issue. However I did reach out to them and spoke with someone and they are suppose to be returning the money within 7 to 10 business days. I'll get it before then because I will be contacting my bank first thing in the morning. Please be aware of these people. They are stealing peoples hard earned money.

I was looking into a loan, they told me they use this company to verify my identity. I didn't see anywhere where they would charge me a fee.
I checked on my bank account, and there was a charge for $39.95.
I called them, and was told I didn't cancel within the trial period, I told them I never signed up for them in the first place. They cancelled my account, now just seeing if the charge goes through my bank, if it does, I'll contest it.

I’m literally sitting on the phone with them right now trying to unsubscribe & the operator is ignoring my request and keeps trying to get me to keep this subscription. Offering gift cards & rewards. It took 15 minutes of me saying “no, I just want to cancel” for him to agree. I’ll give an update if it goes through or if they charge me again. These loan companies know this is misleading when you’re applying for a loan and this PFMverfiy hijacks the application in the middle of the process. This should be illegal especially since we are sharing critical identity sensitive information.

Got spammed by Hexaloan. Investigated it here. It helped!

As others reported. Looking into loan and directed to the page that says $1 trial then if not cancelled charged $39.95. I immediately exited the page. Today I got a text from my bank about possible fraud, asking if it was me. I reply "No". So bank declined the charge. Now I have a frozen card and waiting for a new one in the mail. The page stole my information and put me in their system. Also made sure to call them to make sure I was removed. The whole time claiming I made the account. Got it removed. The number I was able to reach them with
1(888)655-0203.
Wonderfully enough, my father was able to pay my storage unit and vehicle insurance that was going to be due in these couple of days as this month I've literally been living paycheck to paycheck. It would have over drafted my account. Thanks dad. I love you.

This company got my information while I was looking for a debt consolidation loan online. They then charged my card without my consent. They then sent me an email saying my account would be charged 39.95 on the 9th as my trial period would be over. Like heck you will. I'm locking my debit card and you will get nothing for a service I never agreed to or signed up for.

The page I got to for cancellation. This number worked.
Giving a screenshot for you too.

I also requested to cancel my s rvice via email using the online platform. I was told by email that I would have to cancel using the directions online. When I attempted to call the number I could never get through. I looked up the company and got another number for customer service I'll try that next. They should be shut down due to their illegal business practices and withdrawal without written consent from unsuspecting people.

I had a highly disappointing experience with this platform. Without any prior notification or my explicit consent, they charged my account, leaving me completely unaware of their intentions. This lack of transparency is utterly unacceptable.

Furthermore, attempting to cancel my account was an ordeal in itself. Unlike standard websites where you can easily manage your account settings online, this platform requires you to go through the trouble of calling their customer service. This unconventional approach raises serious doubts about their legitimacy and credibility.

The entire situation felt incredibly fishy and scammy. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this platform. It's disappointing to encounter such practices in the digital age, where trust and transparency should be paramount. My experience left me feeling skeptical and frustrated, and I believe there are better and more trustworthy alternatives out there.

They are trying to take out $39.95 from my bank account which I called my bank and told them to deny the charges that they are trying to get. I thought it was a company who helped you get approved for a personal loan which I'm still looking for. They are horrible dishonest people who are probably millionaires by now and have 0 remorse or anything like that for their unacceptable lies false hopes they give you thinking you're getting A loan to help yourself outta your situation and they are actually stealing money from your bank account. How have they not been investigated, charged convicted and sentenced to prison? If I did this [censored] to someone else I guarantee that I would have all those things happen to me and then more I'm sure...I'm so sick to my stomach I'm a single mom on disability who needs a reliable vehicle that's all I was trying to accomplish was getting a decent down payment for a used car so I can actually get back to living my life. I was expecting help like they promised instead I was stolen from, degraded and screwed over without Vaseline and I will be fighting for justice until I get every penny back and they go out of business they are horrible people who feed on the poor needy folks just trying to survive and live in this cruel world. I have lost faith in humanity nobody ever tries to help out a friend or stranger who are clearly in need of help what's wrong with this world now is to much greed. Money is the root of all EVIL AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT PFM VERIFY ARE EVIL, CONIVING,LIARS WHO ARE ONLY TRYING TO MAKE THEMSELVES WEALTHY and not help out the person behind them. Karma is a b[censored] and it will catch up to every single person who is involved in this scam in anyway and I pray that you suffer greatly for your actions and choices of [censored]ing off some poor person who's just trying to figure out life and support their families

Thanks for the information. Nothing can be trusted, no matter how slick it is.

I was charged $39.95 on August 1, 2023 and have no idea why or what this is for. I called the customer service number, only to be told that I would receive a call back from the "next available representative". I am a single mother of 2 and cannot afford to be giving my money away to SCAMMERS! This type of business is illegal and should be prosecuted! I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON MY REFUND!

We signed up for a free trial and tried REPEATEDLY to cancel and they still charged us $40! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
