I applied for a job on carrerbuilder.com. About ten minutes later I starting getting text messages from different people saying they wanted to interview me. I was told to download an app called wire. Then I had to look up the name jacobharrison24 to have the interview take place. So I did. The person interviews me and tells me that I was hired. The person then goes on to say that A check will be fedex to me overnight this is to set up my home office. I got the check on 5/18/2022 for 4,900.00. Then the person tells me to cash the check and buy the supplies using zelle. the person then gives me the zelle information to send the money to buy the supplies. I never cashed the check I new it was a scam.
