Was approached under the guise of a job offer on Indeed to a posting I applied for indicating Remote Work. I was instructed on the phone interview to make a Telegram messaging account and send the front and back of my driver’s license, selfie with my driver’s license, passport photo, and bank statement for “identity verification.” Upon receiving the documents, the scammer blocked me on the messaging app and deleted my message history with them and took my personal data.
