I got an email that pretended to be from a company I had bought a product online from to clean stains out off toilet bowls.It was a one time purchase and it was years ago.It didn’t work and I never ordered it again.Today the email got thanked me for my order of a years supply of the same product for @ $421 .It said the credit card transaction had gone through and I would be getting the notification within the next few days and the product shortly afterwards.It also gave the phone number 877 -655 -5044.When I called there something about the conversation made me wary that it was a scam ,which I’m pretty sure it was .When he said he was going to transfer me to the “ cancellation department “ I hung up.I suspect this is where they would have asked me for the numbers on my credit card or some other information.
