My husband was called while I was at the store. They identified themselves as a senior medical company and told him he needed this test. He is a heart patient and thought it was one of his doctors calling. Unfortunately, he gave them his medical history along with his medicare health card number. After I arrived home, they called back as they told him a doctor would call. I took the call and told them I knew it was a scam and they better not send us anything, The woman asked if I had power of attorney over my husband and demanded that I put him on the phone. When I refused, she finally hung up. Is there anything I can do about this?

They said that they were called about my Medicare. They said that I would receive a back brace, knee braces and wrist brace at no charge because Medicare would pay for it. They asked me about my medical history. Like a fool, I gave them my Medicare number. I was transfer to they shipping department and they asked me the same questions. They said that they would be sending the braces to my address. When we hung up, I called Medicare and reported them. Now, they keep calling back with different numbers. My wife and I don't answer the phone unless we know who is calling.
