Malena Almeida contacted my church stating she had a baby grand piano that belonged to her late husband that she would like to give away for free and only asked for the recipient to pay moving costs. Malena contacted our church via email, [email protected].

I received an email stating that a former student had recently lost their husband and was looking to rehome a piano. I contacted the woman "Jane Thomas" using the requested email and asked for additional information. I was sent photos of a BEAUTIFUL baby grand piano that appeared to be in a church or worship hall. I was instructed:

Piano is currently stored in my movers storage who assisted me in moving my stuff to my new apartment.

I felt like this was an odd timeline so I did a little digging online and discovered several other people had similar encounters dating over several months.
