I do not know how they got by info. These people tried over and over sometimes 3 or 4 times a day to get this money. Cash app kept them from going thru because they would send it to me to see if I had did the charge. This went on for 2 months. Got a knew card and within 12 hours the scammers submitted another charge. It went thru but I got my money back. I don't know who these people are but someone should be concerned about this.

My Facebook account was hacked and the imposter is using my likeness and friends list to post and target others for a cryptocurrency scam.  This imposter is harming my personal reputation and I know of at least one person who has fallen victim to the scam.  All I want is to have the profile deleted, but it is impossible to contact anyone with Facebook.

Imposter hacked my Facebook account profile and continues to pose as me while celebrating all the good they're doing by making folks lots of money in fake cryptocurrency investments. It's very unsettling to me personally and to at least one of my friends who has unfortunately fallen victim to this scam, all the while thinking it was truly me. I just want my Facebook profile deleted permanently, but there is no way at all I have found to contact anyone at Facebook.

Scammer sent an email impersonating Square.com (retail business app) informing me that a customer of ours disputed a credit card transaction in the amount of 1,700.00 and wanted a refund. The hyperlink attached was tied to a website called Maxformwork.com (clearly not Square) the link went to a sub directory of their site that resembled Square.com perfectly.

False advertising on website. Scammers called from a NC 919 phone number, wouldn't provide me any information as far as an address or phone number to their corporate office, and the product was shipped from Garden Grove California. After payment form was entered in and not completed nor authorized for purchase, my son looked at the website and informed me it is a scam and not to finalize any payment info and press cancel and close out the scammers website. I pressed cancel so my payment would not go through. Upon choosing the cancel option, the next screen that came up was a payment successful screen. So, no matter if you choose cancel, the scammers will still charge your payment method. The serum came in the mail and I did not authorize any purchase to receive this. The scammers called my phone and were extremely rude and disrespectful to me. Over talking me and very defensive when I asked for someone above the individual on the phone. The 2 people I spoke with (male and female) have a very strong accent. I asked for a way to return the product I did not order, and they told me I needed to make a payment on the "balance" I owe before they could process the "payment" return and that I could mail it back and would need to pay shipping costs which I will not do since I never ordered this product. I asked them to email me a return shipping label at their expense and the male became very aggressive with his tone and words and just kept repeating the same things over and over again back to back. He said in order to cancel the subscription for recurring orders of the item, I would need to pay the "balance owed." This is a scam and I will be disputing the unauthorized transaction through my bank. These scammers seem to be using a fake phone number to call people that have the same area code as the person they are trying to contact. Possibly using an online system to generate a phone number with the same area code as their targets and then changing the ISP address and generating another fake phone number to keep scamming people out of money.

Called from an unknown number looking for a family member and said they had a pending case regarding money against them and provided a fake case number. This call happened at 7pm which is well after when a court would be open. They also said it was very urgent and to give an 800 number a call back immediately. I forgot to grab the number.

I was contacted by text and phone call stating that you could receive 50% off my bill and continue to receive this. I decided to call ScamPulse.com about it. I started to call Spectrum and decided not to because they would charge me for this.

US funeral expenses calls me several times a day using several different phone numbers asking for information regarding if I’m on Medicare to help pay for my funeral expenses. As soon as I tell them that I'm not in the age group, then they ask if I’m on Medicare. When I say no they hang up but later they call and do the same thing again.

I just received a text from "USPS". There were no links or anything to click on in the text itself, it just said someone left the chat. I didn't get the full phone number, but I do know it was a 937 area code.

I've been receiving multiple calls on my home line for going on two years. People have been trying to sell me different products. They've asked for personal identification information. When I've tried to call the number back a recording stated the number wasn't accepting calls. This is by happening like 10 times a day.

I was selling something on Facebook marketplace and got a hit from a supposedly girl who wanted to buy . Asked and where I was located and just said Magnolia Ridge, Glen Allen. Then she said she was working and would have her husband call me with details of getting it, could I give my phone number to make sure I was a real person. I gave my number and she sent a google message with a code for me to send back to show it was me. She said my phone number didn’t work and asked if I had another one we could try so, I gave my husband’s and she sent another code to his phone to send back. Then my husband was talking with a friend after all this and they told him what we did was not good , that someone was phishing us to get our information to use .
