Today I received an invoice supposed to be from McAfee saying I had purchased a McAfee Internet security plan. I have never purchased anything from McAfee for years and I don't have any account with them. The invoice is for $599 for a renewal that was supposed to have taken place today. I don't know what it is talking about

"Your subscription to the McAfee Total Anti Protection Plan for your devices expires 12-31-2023. Please click link to renew your subscription" I never had a subscription with McAfee and they had all my information in the email. It's weird. The number didnt work either.

They kept calling from a private number saying i signed as a Garentor on a loan from someone who lives in another state. They kept saying that they have my signature on file. Then when i told them that its impossible and told them i wont be falling for their scam. They started to call me and my husband black [censored] (which is neither relevant to their call) they continued with we are scammers and we are running away with their 5000 . They kept bombarding me with phone calls. Harrasing me and saying that i was going to go to jail.

Got a phone call with the only way to answer is yes, oops I did and now I am worried.

I didn’t answer the phone call, but when I listened to the voicemail sent, I’ve heard it too many times from different phone numbers.

This time I decided to call back the number left on the voicemail, 302-758-9985, and when a person picked up, and I told him to take me off the DNC list, he told ME to stop calling him. Infuriating!!

Received an email from someone claiming to be PayPal telling me I bought $850 of cryptocurrency. And if I wanted to dispute it to click on the link provided or call the number in the email. I logged into my PayPal account and saw it was bogus. I deleted the email.

I just randomly received 3 gift card emails in a row (within a minute) from amazon ([email protected]) and I am really confused by this.

All of the emails open with ` Thank you for purchasing <name of company> gift cards from Amazon.com.`

With the cards being MasterCard, google play and hotels.com. I have never purchased a gift card from amazon and my account does not show any purchases today, so could anyone help me.

I got an email this morning to renew Norton Virus LifeLock  just this morning and I clicked on the attachment. There was no phone number to call and now I’m worried that the whole scam is to click on the attachment and now I’ve got malware on my phone. I never had a subscription with them before

I received an email invoice from Norton Virus Lifelock for $249 this morning, so I called the number. (1833-493-9599). A man with an Indian accent asked for the last four digits of my order number. He confirmed the number that I was calling from. He asked if I were sitting in front of the computer and I told him no. He told me to go in front of my computer. I told him I can't, because I was on my way to work. He asked for a good time to call me back, so he can walk me through the refund process. He said that way I wouldn't have to worry about it renewing again. I told him if he can't cancel it over the phone, I will go through my bank to cancel it.

He was very persistent, I figure it was a scam trying to gain access to my personal information, so I hung up on him.

It's a scam. The guy I asked questions from cussed at me then hung up. I called him back and suggested to him not to cuss at me.

He then told me the only way to cancel this was to go to a website, which redirected me to Google Play Store to install an app. I installed the app which led me to no where. He then told me to go to one of his affiliated store CVS and for me to purchase a gift card.

I then laughed and told him he's a scammer and I hope he gets caught.

I got an email claiming to be from Norton lifelock stating that my account has been billed approx $400 for a renewal fee. The email address it came from indicates it is a scam (random letters/numbers gmail account). I never had a paid Norton lifelock account

Received an email from Norton thanking me for my yearly payment of 259.99 for a subscription. I have never had Norton on my computer in over 20 years. Based on the email address looks like a scam attempt
