I received a phone call from 888-464-0727, which on caller ID showed up as Capital One. They said that due to my making all payments on time, they wanted to lower my interest rate. They asked me what my total credit card debt was, I gave them a fake answer. They asked me which card I used the most, and I gave them a fake answer. Then they asked for the expiration date. I told them that they were asking for sensitive information and that I did not know if this was a legit call. I said I would call them later. I looked up their number and saw several different scams using that same number. I never intended to call back, but I did want to report them.
