Faked an email from our CEO to our payables processing department including a chain that indicated the CEOs APPROVAL of the invoice to be paid. Payment was to be made by ACH only for "executive coaching, marketing strategy development and exclusive access to VIP events." Fortunately, we use a two-factor authentication to remit payments and our CEO saw the payment to be processed and halted the process.
