- Silver Spring, MD, USA • Apr 01, 2024

The alleged scammer used a relative (also Facebook friend) and sent a message from her that the department of labor is sending large amounts of money to people who apply for a program. Cited my sister-in-law (who was hacked) claiming she got $200,000. just for applying for the program. My sister-in-law told me she was hacked on Facebook and didn't get a large check from them.

The scammer got my full name and has been sending messages via Facebook messenger. No more information was supplied to them.
