A scammer claiming to go by the name of Steven Bunn, or Bunn Steven, contacted me via text message. The scammer stated that he/she found my business on the ScamPulse.com's website and wanted to install security cameras for a property just purchased in Northport, NY. The scammer stated that he /she was currently on a business trip and that he /she needed the security cameras installed before his/her arrival. The scammer stated I could only look at the property from the outside, with no access to the inside, and that I should immediately provide a proposal to receive a deposit to begin the work. I looked up the property online and noticed the property was listed on the market approximately six days ago. I contacted the listing agent, explained the situation, and was told by the agent that she did not know Steven Bunn precisely, that the property was listed six days ago, and that the current property owner did not request such a service. The scammer still tries to contact me and calls me "My brother."
