I replied to an ad on Indeed for a data entry clerk at PIH health paying $28 an hour. I was contacted by [email protected] named Shante Jordan. I was told I would interview on the TELEGRAM app. I was offered the job with an offer letter which I signed. The "hiring manager" told me via TELEGRAM that I was going to be sent money for a new printer. They emailed me a check from that same email (ATTACHED). They asked me to sent it to deposit it. I deposited it into my account. They then told me to buy a certain ink, and that the rest of the money would be sent to an office supplies vendor named JAPLIA OFFICESUPPLIES. This does not come up on google. They sent me a personal zelle account to send it to. I felt uneasy, so I went to my local Wells Fargo branch. There is a claim on the check for fraud. As soon as I told whoever I was messaging on the telegram app about it, they blocked me on the app. I can no longer get access to the email or zelle account they wanted me to send it to.

I was contacted through Indeed and told to download Telegram for an online interview. The interviewer claimed to be Jason Fischer, who's name is connected to PIH Health, adding credibility. I foolishly followed along for almost everything. Gave my SSN and photo of my driver's license. Didn't give my bank numbers, but they probably don't need me to at this point. This scam is thorough. I got a confirmation letter to sign and asked to make an ID.me photo verification. Don't fall for this like me.

Christopher Reeves reached out to me saying he was a recruiter for Pih Health for doing online data that would pay $29.00. He said he got my application on indeed which I was looking for a job at that time. He wanted me to down load telegram messenger and so I did. I would have to buy equipment to get the job started. I told him I was no longer interested and I never heard from him again
