Type of a scam Investment
Since investing, we've come to discover that this organization has a long history of defrauding investors. We have been informed and believe that the operators of this location have used investor money, as well as money from cannabis sales, for nothing more than personal enrichment. To date, we have not received any monthly disbursements as promised, despite the storefront doing active business for over two years. We also have exercised our contractual put-option for our investment be returned to us - as was a clear part of our contract - and they have refused to comply with that as well. The company is also being sued for allegedly hijacking the social equity license that was granted to one of the partners, and have used access to this license to sell unauthorized stock sales and ownership shares of the dispensary itself. They are also being sued for failure to pay state/city taxes of cannabis sales.
We have been in contact with multiple other investors and vendors who are in a similar situation with this group. In short, this organization is run by bad actors who are using investor and consumer cannabis sales monies solely for their own personal enrichment. We believe that other potential investors and consumers should be warned and a detailed investigation into this organization is warranted. I'd be happy to provide more specific details and documents to support our claim. We have retained an attorney and have filed a suit against this organization for fraudulent business practices and breach of contract.
