I was looking online for breeders and I came across Pinecoonmainecoon.com . I filled out a request for adoption and the I was received a text instantly from a number saying they were the owner of Maine [censored] Kittens and they wanted $800 for the kitten I was interested in. They didn’t ask for any of my information, any background checks and didn’t provide any more information on the kitten. It felt off, so I asked them what organization they were backed by. They sent me a link to their website that said they were ALSO known as DreamCoon Breeders. I looked up DreamCoon breeders out of Virginia but it led me to a different website domain. I sent back a text stating that it sent me to a different website and asked them to confirm they were located in Virginia. Their response said “Yes I’m in Portland Oregon”.
