Offered a job through chinese company ping an group for an operations manager. A remote position, with an interview through zoom via text. After sent a letter of acceptance via email. Was then overnighted a check for $4140 and was instructedto deposit it and purchase software meant for the position. I did not deposit the check as it hit how strange the situation was at that point.
