I was contacted via email about a job that paid a large salary. When I responded to the email the person had me interview via Microsoft Teams. Once the “interview “ was completed I was offered a job. I tried to call the phone number on the website and the number is not in service. I told this to the person and they denied it. The next conversation invoked him telling me that they would mail me a check to pick up my equipment. When I said no he said he could put the money in my charge card. No is what I said no way. The next morning he sends an email with a job offer, a W-4 form and a form to fill out for a background check. I explained that I knew this was fraud and told him I would report him and he stated “go ahead it will be a waste of you’re time”
