Advertising blue pit bull puppy for sale on a private group on facebook. Talked via facebook messenger on 3-11-2023. Price of 500 dollars quoted for the the puppy with half to be paid up front and the remaining 250 to be paid on delivery. Asked for mr to use cash app or or zelle , I set up cash app and was told to use $boone 1207 uner the name Daniel Reynolds. When questioning the name he said it was set up in his son's name. Sent pictures of visa gift card and receipt. Puppy to be delivered on Friday to my home so that he could make sure the puppie had a good home. Yesterday received message needed 200 more for transfer of paperwork with cashapp with the name of Chris and code $4slient19. was unable to and sent pictures of gift card. This morning received message his Mom died and was sending the puppy on a private transport and they will be contacting me with a tracking where I can track their movement. Asked for name and number was given the name Private Pet Carrier services and their phone number was (701) 347-1222. Asked him to email me the paper work that I paid for yesterday confirming and he said he had given it to the transport company. I called the number and had to leave a message. Received a text from them confirming name and address and telling me they did not have a crate for him and that I needed to pay 500 for an electronic paging crate. I talked to Jason and told him I had not consented to this that I would not pay. He deleted me off the group and has taken down pictures of the puppies he had up.
