Applied for a job, Data Entry - Typist Part-Time - Remote, through LinkedIn, followed the website and filled out application. Received an email the next day saying I had the qualities they were looking for and asked that I fill out the application on their website, but the red flag was in the body of the email that said I would need to not only let them perform a credit check but to also pay for it. I went to the site to see what that was about and researched online what the standard was for performing a credit check. There are some companies that do that, and I know the main reason it is mentioned is because of criminal checks but there are specific site for that. Looked up for any info on the website of the application, plchiring.com, but there wasn't enough info to know for sure but not enough to trust it, found on another site that it had been created 7/4/2024, today it is 7/11/2024. Then looked up the email address domain that the email came from and found the same thing. Went to look at the job listing that had been on LinkedIn but it was gone and while doing that I received a text from 989-433-6120 that pretty much said a shortened version of the email, tried to see if anything came up under the number and only the general location did. Then checked the company that was listed as the employer but they had no such jobs, their format was different, and all their jobs were on-site in Texas. Lastly, searched for Mikayla Jaylen and an auto came up to select 'Mikayla Jaylen hiring manager', which brought me here. Email went as follows: "Job Title: Data Entry - Typist Part-Time - Remote

Company: Weisinger Incorporated Inc

Benefits Offered: Dental, Life, Medical, Vision,401(k)

Dear Applicant,

We acknowledge the receipt of your application through LinkedIn and

appreciate your expressed interest.
